The Sumter County Genealogical Society has limited research staff. Write, call, or email to see if your research needs can be accommodated through the local organization. Email is preferred and will result in a quicker response.
Usual charges (contract research) starts at a $30 per 1st hour for a deposit, plus the cost of copies and mailing plus an additional $20-40 per hour after that depending on researcher available at time of request. Make your request as specific as possible, providing all relevant information.

When making a querie; please include as much information as possible such as date of birth, date of death, places of birth and death of your ancestor and any other information that you think will be necessary to comply with your request. The dates do not have to be exact.
